Supply List - Watercolour: Art and Science

Items required for the first class:

- brushes: synthetic sable #4 and #12

- watercolour paints: travel set with dry watercolour cakes or individual tubes (red, blue, yellow, green, orange, violet)

- white plastic palette for mixing watercolour paint (small rectangular ones are fine or you can also use white ceramic plates or white plastic lids)

- graphite pencil: H and 2B

- white plastic eraser

- metal pencil sharpener

- watercolour sketchbook 9 x 12” or larger (Arches, cold press pad recommended)

Additional Items to be discussed during the first class:

- painter's tape (low tac)

- large tube of white gouache

- gluestick

- magazine for collage

- two sheets of watercolour paper 22 x 30” (140 lb, cold press, Arches or Fabriano are good brands)

- one sheet black watercolour paper (Legends), 22 x 30”
