Supply List - Drawing with Fabric

For first class:

-a selection of mixed fabric, wool fabrics and/or yarns. A collection of small scraps will work.

-Sewing scissors

-Sketchbook/notebook and pen.

-Sharpie

Other needed supplies (details to be discussed in class):

-Transparencies

-Exacto Knife

-Easy cut board or thick cardboard

-Masking tape

-Fabric of choice

-Embroidery cotton

-Embroidery needles

-10" embroidery hoop (approximate)

-Cyanotype pre-treated fabric (available from Opus and island Blue Art Store)

Supplies provided by VISA:

-Cyanotype chemicals

-Rug hook

-Burlap
