TUITION
Full-time Tuition
The full-time tuition rate for the Certificate of Visual Arts and the Diploma of Fine Arts is $2,600 (full-time is 21 hours per week) plus any applicable material fees (see individual course descriptions).
This flat fee includes the following:
- cost of seven courses (material fees not included)
- free access to Drop-in Life Drawing sessions
Part-time Tuition
Tuition for part-time students and students who are not in a program is based on the cost of individual courses and workshops. Some courses and workshops have an additional material fee (see individual descriptions for details).

Students will receive a tax receipt for tuition amounts over $100.
Students attending the Vancouver Island School of Art are eligible for loans from the British Columbia Student Assistance Program.
