Supply List - History Painting PNTGw266-30

Assuming some experience with either oil or acrylic, so materials will vary from student to student. The only requirement is to come ready to paint every class. The first class we will briefly discuss a few volunteer’s materials and palette choices.

- Oil or acrylic paint: Alizarin Crimson (or Quinacridone Red), Ultramarine Blue, Lemon Yellow (or equivalent—should say PY3 on the tube), Titanium White (larger tube)

- 1 big brush (2 1/2” or larger). Hardware store brushes are fine

- 1 #12 “bright” brush: Hog Bristle for oil, and a stiff synthetic for acrylic

- surfaces: bring two small surfaces to paint on the first class (11" x 14" or similar). Rest of week: projects could include a series of small works or one or two large works on canvas or panel

**Paper is available for purchase at the school.
