Artist Talk, February 26 @ 7:30 at the Vancouver Island School of Art

Jennifer Kosituk has a Bachelor of Art History from Queens University and has worked for the Art Gallery of Ontario and various commercial galleries in Toronto. Jennifer has represented 20 artists from across Canada, USA and Europe.

Jennifer is owner and director of the Jennifer Kostiuk Gallery which was established 1997 in Vancouver, Canada. The gallery represents established and emerging contemporary artists from across Canada and USA. It brings together artists that explore similar themes and aesthetics creating a relevant cross section of topical interests and concerns. The gallery artists’ works address the various ways in which the contemporary mindset has altered nature and our relationship to it. Notably are organic references to nature’s influence, impact or unconscious message its presence plays on the individual artist or collector, or society as a whole. Together the works inform each other and provide a complex context for the reading of their individual perspectives. The Jennifer Kosituk Gallery has recently moved to a great new and spacious location in Yaletown in Vancouver.
